As heart transplant recipients, we recognize NOTDAW's purpose is to raise organ and tissue donor awareness across our country. There is a critical need for organ donors and we encourage all Canadians to register their donor intentions. Today, Tuesday April 7, is Green Shirt Day 2026. It is a day to reflect on all organ donors who make the Gift of Life possible for organ recipients. Logan Boulet was a registered organ donor eight years ago when the tragic Humboldt bus crash occurred, creating a national wave of over 100,000 organ donor registrations across Canada known as the Logan Boulet Effect. Wear your green today, register to be an organ donor, tell your family and be inspired.
