Medicine Bear Counselling Medicine Bear incorporates traditional ways of healing as well as western methodologies and includes individual, family and group sessions.

Medicine Bear Counselling Support and Elder Services is a program through Ka Ni Kanichihk Inc that provides Counselling, support, and Elder Services for families impacted by MMIWG2S* Medicine Bear Counselling, Support and Elder Services provides opportunities for family members of murdered and missing Indigenous women and girls to heal from complex trauma and grief within a culturally safe and supportive environment.

📣WEATHER CLOSURE NOTICE

Due to the severe weather expected this afternoon, all Ka Ni Kanichihk locations will be closed for the remainder of the day, with the exception of Velma’s House, which will remain open.

The safety of our staff, relatives, and community members is our priority. We want to ensure staff have enough time to get home safely before conditions worsen.

Today is our movie night at Cineplex Juxion. Reminder this event is by sign-up only; as spots are limited. If you're in need of transportation please arrive at 455 McDermot before 3pm; as the bus will be leaving to Cineplex at that time.
