💙Please support Project Blue World's "Manitoba Feline Protection Project", support Veronica and her team increase reach of Fixing Feral Felines to provide spay and neuter access for landowners in Manitoba that have free roaming cats stray onto their property.
🐈How does the service work? Fixing Feral Felines "Cat coordinators" answer calls and coach, coordinate cats to appointments for spay and neuter care across Manitoba daily. They also provide education and training for other animal protection service providers, and our communities.
🔑Providing spay and neuter services is critical to stem the feline population, reduce the suffering of cats living on their own or in colonies.
💰We are seeking sponsors and donors to build operational capacity, pay for cat coordinators, business systems development, finance, marketing, supplies and equipment for the team to carry out service. We expect to subsidize spay and neuter care for 150 cats from the project as well in the coming year.

🌎⚡🔊News from Arnildo Schildt PBWs Environment Consultant reporting from Conference of the Parties, the nations leaders annual convention to address global warming. "The UN Conference of the Parties on climate change, COP30, 2025, held in Belém (PA) Brazil, became the stage for one of the most urgent discussions of our time: the energy transition for sustainable development. The events endeavor to consolidate a global roadmap to gradually abandon fossil fuels and migrate to clean sources such as solar, wind, and biofuels.

Brazil, the host of the conference, proposed leading this movement, with Vice President Geraldo Alckmin advocating for a tripling of renewable energy and a doubling of energy efficiency by 2030.

However, a key theme for climate resilience is absent from the central discussions at COP30: distributed generation. In simple terms, this refers to the production of electricity close to the point of consumption, such as solar panels in homes, small wind turbines, or biomass systems in communities. Unlike large centralized power plants, this generation occurs “at the point of use,”… meaning where the energy is consumed.

This approach is a strategic composite during extreme event scenarios, such as the recent 2024 floods and storms in Rio Grande do Sul, which damaged transmission networks, leaving millions without power, and a diminished GDP for the State. With distributed generation, the dependence on long transmission lines decreases, and energy can continue to be supplied locally, preventing the collapse of essential services and the economy.

COP30 reinforces that energy transition is a global endeavor. However, Brazil needs to confront its own dilemmas, which prioritizes resilience and social well-being above the interests of investors and governments.

The shift in the energy model cannot be merely an international showcase—it must be a profound, inclusive, and strategic transformation capable of protecting society from the climate changes that are already underway.

To these matters, COP 30 attendance, via SIGA Mobilidade's CEO, Arnildo Schildt, would make presentation of its CarbonSat technology and verification of CO2 credits usage for sustainable development efforts to facilitate access to carbon offset resources.

The rescheduling of the Trade and Investment Mission to Rio Grande do Sul post-COP 30 briefings has conveyed additional assessments for the Serra Gacha Regional Transportation Infrastructure and ecosystems development.

These interactions with the Global Civil Societies and the Development Bank Communities will aid in ensuring sustainability."

Our team has been studying and learning. Let's review today the "Theory of Change*" framework. Here are 2 of ours at PBW. On the left drafted in 2019 and on the right in 2025. What's the theory and what is expected change? We can create a ** for all. We do it project by project around the world. Until communities and people, companies and countries are thriving. Our network is powerful, when we humans dream, achieve, manage, succeed we obtain happiness, health, humanity and safety. People are the protectors of the world
*see comments for more on Theory of Change description.
**Blue World scientific studies illustrate places in the world where people achieve longevity and happiness, health and quality life. Our theory is we can effect the globally communities by building projects that have positive economic impact for people.

Special thanks to Manitoba Council for International Cooperation and Canada’s International Development – Global Affairs Canada for providing our team free training in Results Based Management. To define objectives and create outcomes and long term sustainable impact we need to all speak the same language or at least understand each other, and use great tools to manage together.
