Sunshine House is a community drop-in and resource centre focusing on harm reduction and social inclusion. We work to provide programming that fulfills people’s social, community, and recreational needs. Participants can come as they are, and are not expected to be “clean” or sober. The Mobile Overdose Prevention Site (MOPS) operates Wednesday-Sunday. From 12pm-5pm it is located in the parking lot beside 631 Main St. It’s a place where people can come to use drugs under the supervision of staff members trained in overdose response.

Here are the things we need most at Sunshine House, the Mobile Overdose Prevention Site (MOPS) and Kelly’s Corner transitional residence for June 2026.

🍴Dishware and cutlery:
Reusable water bottles
Coffee cups and drinking glasses
Spoons and forks

🧼Toiletries, especially:�Razors & deodorant
Toothpaste & toothbrushes
Body wash
Shampoo & conditioner

🩳Summer apparel, especially:
Tank tops and sports bras
Shorts
Summer shoes

🧦Also:
Flats of bottled water
Socks & underwear
Brand-name moving boxes��We are also in need of good working condition used personal electronics like CELL PHONES and TABLETS. These items are so important for people getting back on their feet! We even offer tax receipts for many items! Read more about it here: https://sunhou.link/DYT
