Biathlon Manitoba Biathlon Manitoba is a provincial club-based organization dedicated to promoting the sport of Biathlon in Manitoba. Interested?

Heart racing, skis gliding, and bullets flying. A unique combination, biathlon combines the exhilarating speed of skate skiing with the focused precision of r***e marksmanship. Between laps of high-intensity ski racing, each biathlete tests their shooting skills on five targets, with the hopes of gaining the upper hand on the competition. Accurate shots are rewarded with a quick return to the ski course, but missed targets result in added time or extra skiing. Every race is a fight to the finish line, and every second counts. Did you know that Saskatchewan has a new range just 30 minutes from the Manitoba border?!

We’re celebrating this by announcing the prairie race schedule where no events overlap!

2026-2027 prairie race dates:

🗓️🌾BAM Cup 1: Dec 20, 2026, Falcon Lake, MB (Subject to snow)
🗓️🌾SASK Cup 2: Jan 9-10, 2027, Esterhazy Biathlon Club, Esterhazy, SK
🗓️🌾BAM Cup 2 & 3: Jan 16 & 17 2027, KNBC & LOWGC, Kenora, ON
🗓️🌾BAM Cup 4 & 5: Jan 30 & 31 2027, Falcon Lake, MB

BAM’s AGM will take place on Sunday, November 8th, from 11:00am-12:00pm at the Windsor Park Nordic Center in Winnipeg with lunch to follow.

A Zoom link will be available for those who are unable to attend in person.

‼️The AGM is open to all active BAM members. Note that voting rights are reserved for active members. If you’d like to attend/vote please register with BAM and BiCan before the AGM.

The Manitoban biathlon crew is training hard for the 2027 Canada Winter Games!🔥💪

This past weekend, the team was in Kenora for a training camp, where they put their skills to the test. In the mock race, coaches rigged athletes’ r***es to simulate real-life challenges like misfires or missing mags!
