The Dream Factory is a charitable organization dedicated to fulfilling dreams for kids who are battling life-threatening illnesses.

We’re unique because we’re based in Manitoba – and all funds we raise stay in this province to help local children.

A heartfelt thank you to the Manitoba Nurses Union for raising an incredible $7,304 for The Dream Factory through their 2026 AGM Fundraiser. 💙

Nurses across Manitoba play such an important role in helping Dreams begin. After a child receives a life-changing diagnosis, nurses are often among the first trusted people to tell families about The Dream Factory, offer encouragement, and help connect Dream Kids with the chance to experience joy, comfort, and something wonderful to look forward to. ☁️

This generous gift is more than a cheque presentation. It is a reminder of the care, compassion, and community that surround Dream Kids and their families every step of the way.

Happy World Bicycle Day! 🚲💛

Today feels like the perfect day to talk about Dream Ride, our community event where every kilometer walked or biked helps bring special moments to Dream Kids and their families.

This year, Dream Ride is raising funds for Jasper, a quiet, gentle Dream Kid who loves the outdoors, music, hockey, animals, and making friends with every stray cat he meets. His family lovingly calls him the “Kitty Whisperer.” 😺 Jasper’s Dream is to travel to the Yukon to hug his Grandma and catch big fish on the Yukon River. 🎣 On July 18, you can help make that Dream possible.

Join us in beautiful Clear Lake to bike, walk, fundraise, and spend a wonderful day with your crew. You can sign up as a team, join individually, or participate virtually by organizing your own walk, ride, or activity wherever you are.

“Best week of my life.” ✨☁️ There is nothing better as a parent than hearing words like that.

Last month, Dream Kid Keenan and his family experienced the magic of a Dream come true with a trip to Disney World - a week filled with wonder, laughter, and memories they will carry with them forever.

Because that is what Dreams are all about. They are more than a trip, more than a destination, and more than a single magical moment. They are a chance for families to be together, make joyful memories, and feel the world open up again.

We are so happy Keenan and his family had their “best week ever.” 💙

A portion of the proceeds from every Kos Pizza sold will be donated to The Dream Factory to help support Manitoba children facing life-threatening illnesses.

We are so grateful to Santa Lucia Pizza and Virgin Radio for bringing joy, hope, comfort, and unforgettable experiences to children and families during some of life's most difficult moments through Dream experience, family support, and ongoing care throughout their journey. 🩵 The power of community is in full gear!

We're so grateful to share that The Dream Factory has been selected for support through the IERHA $5 Club! 🩵

The Interlake-Eastern Regional Health Authority's $5 Club is powered by staff and board members who choose to donated $5 from every paycheck. Over the course of the year, those small acts of generosity add up to make meaningful impact for organizations across our community.

This donation was especially meaningful, as Dream Kids Zayla and Declan joined alongside their moms - both members of the IERHA team - for the cheque presentation to celebrate this incredible support. ☁️✨ It was a beautiful reminder that behind every act of generosity are real families, real connections, and a community that cares deeply for one another.

We're honoured to be selected alongside several other amazing causes, and so thankful to everyone who gives through the program. Your kindness helps create moments of joy, hope, and connection for Dream Kids like Declan and Zayla and their families. 💫 Thank you for helping Dreams grow, one paycheck and one smile at a time. 😊
