Summer Camp Flashback | Culture Day

A look back at our No Limits Summer Camp 2026 a wrap up celebration of culture, heritage, community, and connection!

Our youth had the opportunity to learn about Ethiopian and Eritrean history, traditions, and heritage while connecting across generations.

A special thank you to Dr. Taye Zegeye for sharing his knowledge of Ethiopian and Eritrean history, traditions, and heritage with our youth, and for taking the time to engage with them and answer their questions. We also extend our gratitude to Merdia for engaging with our youth and sharing her knowledge.

A big thank you to Gohe Ethiopian Restaurant for generously providing delicious food, and to all the moms and No Limits parents who prepared and shared Ethiopian and Eritrean dishes.

Thank you to all our parents, youth, volunteers, and partners who helped make such a meaningful summer experience possible!

Campers are invited to share their talents—singing, dancing, music, storytelling, skits, poetry, special skills, and more.

This is a fun, supportive opportunity to build confidence, express creativity, and celebrate everyone’s unique gifts.

Our one-week Summer Day Camp continues, and we are excited to kick off tomorrow's adventure with a hike at the beautiful Seine River Trail!

What an incredible time at our St. Malo camping adventure! 🌲⛺

From voyageur canoeing and learning about the Canadian fur trade to sharing Indigenous culture, swimming, beach fun, and spending a night under the stars, this camp was filled with adventure, learning, friendship, and connection.

One of the highlights was watching our youth step up as leaders, planning and preparing meals, taking responsibility around camp, supporting one another, and growing in confidence throughout the experience. They didn’t just participate; they helped make camp a success.

A heartfelt thank you to Wilderland Adventure Company, Matt, for creating such an unforgettable outdoor adventure and learning experience.

A special thank you to our outstanding youth leaders, Nupur Behavsar and Ariam Unduche, for their dedication to program and resource planning and to Yedidiah Yonas for her assistance.

Most importantly, thank you to all of our families and youth who participated in the 2026 No Limits Summer Camp. Your enthusiasm, teamwork, and adventurous spirit made every moment unforgettable.

Here’s to the memories we’ve made, the friendships we’ve built, and the adventures still to come. We can’t wait to see everyone again in 2027!
