Sometimes "less is more" - and fall is a great time for us to be reminded of that as there are so many activities that can quickly fill our schedules.

Some simple shifts for families to consider are:

- less extracurriculars, more engagement with children in their everyday routines and tasks.
- less technology and toys, and more child-led play outside.
- less rote drilling and assessment, and more parent-child play and story times.
