Last weekend, RRT St Catharines was honored to mark its fourth consecutive year celebrating Week by serving nearly 200 meals to the dedicated Niagara EMS teams.

This annual tradition is a small way to thank the paramedics and first responders who work tirelessly to keep our communities safe. We deeply appreciate their unwavering commitment, sacrifice, and frontline service each and every day. Supporting those who serve our community is an honor, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to give back.

Last week, RRT was honored to serve our signature burger meal in appreciation of Middlesex-London Paramedic Service at their Open House.

Members and their families enjoyed tours, games, and time together, and we were grateful for the opportunity to provide a meal in thanks for all they do for our communities.

RRT was honoured to support the Waterloo Regional Police Service Special Olympics Torch Run, bringing together officers, staff, runners, walkers, and athletes in a meaningful community event focused on inclusion and support for Special Olympics athletes.

RRT served burger meal lunches to the runners as a way of showing appreciation and helping keep everyone fueled throughout the day.

During this Nurse Appreciation Week and throughout the month of May, RRT is honored to stand alongside nurses around the world in recognition of their dedication, compassion, and service to communities everywhere. RRT NA is grateful to be serving more than 10,000 meals across 15 events nationwide in support of these incredible healthcare professionals.

Tag a first responder you know and help us thank them for all they do! ❤

On May 1st, we recognize National First Responders Day in Canada 🇨🇦 - a day dedicated to honoring the courage, commitment, and sacrifice of those who run toward emergencies when others are told to stay back. From police officers and firefighters to paramedics, nurses, and 911 dispatchers, first responders play a vital role in protecting our communities every single day.

This day not only celebrates their service, but also raises awareness of the physical and mental challenges they face in the line of duty. It’s an opportunity to pause, reflect, and express our sincere gratitude to the individuals who show unwavering strength, compassion, and resilience in the most difficult moments.

RRT London deployed quickly last week to serve responders at a house fire in London. Thank you to Thorndale Community Fire Department for all you do to protect the community - we were honoured to provide a meal and refreshments in support of your crews.

Woodlands RRT was honored to donate a pizza lunch to support Siloam Mission and the incredible work they do serving the Winnipeg community. With shelter and three meals provided daily to those experiencing homelessness, we’re grateful for the opportunity to give back and support their mission.

Standing with Peguis First Nation as they face renewed flooding challenges. After the devastating 2022 floods that displaced many families, the community is once again working tirelessly—opening drainage channels, filling sandbags, and protecting homes.

Our team was on the ground serving hot meals and refreshments to those supporting the response efforts. We’re honoured to stand alongside the community and volunteers from across the province, and our thoughts are with all those affected during this difficult time.
