We offer condolences to Heathers many friends and family. She leaves a hole in our Highland dance community.

In Loving Memory of Heather Jolley

The BC Highland Dancing Association is deeply saddened by the passing of Heather Jolley, a Past President, life member and an extraordinary member of our Highland Dancing community.

Following in the footsteps of her mother, Adeline, a respected teacher and judge, Heather dedicated more than 50 years to teaching, adjudicating, and inspiring generations of dancers. Her influence reached around the world, and her contributions to Highland dancing in British Columbia and beyond will never be forgotten.

Heather’s passion, knowledge, and dedication helped shaped our community, leaving a lasting legacy on the dance floor and in the hearts of those who knew her.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Eddie, Don, her family her friends, students, and the entire Highland dancing community.

Rest in peace, Heather. You will be deeply missed.

Thank-you to all whom attended online and in person to our AGM. We look forward to welcoming all our dancers to our October Closed competition in a few weeks registration closes this week we look forward to catching up with everyone then.
