ATU Local 1505 was proud to be at the Manitoba Legislature today in support of MLA Diljeet Brar and his private member’s resolution, Standing Against Anti-Sikh Hate.

We stand united against hate, discrimination and religious intolerance. Every Manitoban deserves to feel safe, respected and valued in our communities. We thank MLA Brar for bringing this important issue forward and standing up for Sikh Manitobans. ✊🏽❤️

What a great turnout at the Next Stop 50/50 rally on October 6! 🚍✊
So many supporters came out, brought the energy, and made it a fun and powerful event. Thank you to everyone who showed up and helped keep the pressure on.
Now the work continues. We’re calling on the Manitoba government to restore the 50/50 transit funding partnership by December 3, 2026.
Next Stop: 50/50! 🚌💪

CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS! It's crunch time, and it's never too late to join in on the fun. This upcoming Saturday, Oct. 10 I hope you will join us for our next door knocking blitz! This time we will be spending the day in the William Whyte/North End neighbourhoods. Our hub for the day will be 541 Selkirk Ave, the beloved Merchants Corner building.

As usual we will be providing coffee, refreshments, and lunch for the day. Need childcare? Let us know and we can arrange it!
