Arts service organization Artspace Inc. is located within the 55,000 square foot historic Gault (Artspace) building in Winnipeg’s Exchange District.

It is an arts service organization that supports its membership and the Manitoba arts and cultural community at large with administrative services, and the provision of affordable creation, production, exhibition and administration space. Incorporated in 1984, Artspace Inc. is a not for profit organization and a registered charity. It's governed by a nineteen person Board of Directors and the Arts

pace building is home to eighteen of Manitoba's arts and cultural organizations and a number of individual artists. Since inception, Artspace Inc. has had a profound and positive effect on the development of arts and culture in Manitoba, and has been a major contributor to the Exchange District’s emergence as a historic and cultural destination.

Artspace Inc. is seeking a Treasurer to join our volunteer Board of Directors! 💸💸💸

Artspace Inc. creates space for arts and culture to flourish. Through low-cost facilities, and shared administrative services, we play a vital role in supporting the health of Manitoban arts and cultural organizations.

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a background in finance / accounting to join our organization’s Board of Directors for a first three (3) year term.

The Treasurer works closely with the Executive Director to support the financial operations of the organization including overseeing bookkeeping processes, supporting in the annual audit, presenting financial documents at board meetings and the AGM, and participating as a member of the Executive committee.

Board meetings and committee meetings are held every two months, alternating each month.

We have some BIG news! 📣

Have you ever visited Artspace to take in art, only to be denied the opportunity due to a broken elevator or locked floors?
Well, you are NOT alone, as the aging systems at Artspace have prevented many people from using the building as intended. But all that ends now!

Thanks to the generous support of the Winnipeg Foundation The Winnipeg Foundation and their Major Capital Grant Program, Artspace is embarking on some integral infrastructural improvements, aimed at bettering accessibility and safety at 100 Arthur St. This couldn’t be happening at a better time, as Artspace approaches its 40th birthday, and the Gault building celebrates its 126th.

Elevator repairs and security upgrades are first on the docket for Fall 2026, with larger projects including washroom renovations and tenant space improvements set to begin in Spring 2027.

We are working hard to raise additional funds to see these projects through, including a full-building 40th Birthday fundraiser taking place on Friday, November 6th 2026 (save the date!).

We also recognize that although this work is integral for the future of Artspace, it will be disruptive to the 25 tenant organizations, 12 studio renters and thousands of art patrons that visit 100 Arthur on the regular. For this reason, we will be posting important accessibility updates and disruption schedules on our website as needed. Please refer to the Building Events and Announcements Page at:

DJ L0v3yDucky! Nancy Nguyen

Nancy Nguyen is a multidisciplinary artist of Vietnamese descent, currently based in Winnipeg MB, Canada. Themes of Buddhism and spirituality are explored through her process of art making, with a strong interest in re-imagining her cultural roots through non-Western forms of art and philosophy. Nancy practices traditional techniques of East Asian art such as, Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging), Gong-Fu Cha (Chinese tea tasting), and Sumi-e ink painting, as well as music production. In 2024, she won third place at her first local beat-making competition under the alias- L0v3yDucky, and continues to venture into music as a way to expand her practice. Her sound can be described as unearthly, experimental and nasty.

Staffing announcement! 📣

We are thrilled to introduce Eusebio Lopez-Aguilar as the new Operations Director here at Artspace!

Eusebio comes to this position as an artist, a father, and as someone with experience in tenant relations and building maintenance. He is very much looking forward to understanding the larger organism that Artspace is, and working with the team to improve the systems for staff, tenants, and the community at large.
