Once it’s on the curb, it’s taken as-is — often damaged, handled roughly, or sent straight to recycling.

Donate it first — while it still has a chance to be refurbished and reused. 💻

🔧 Meet the Team Behind Your Computer! 🖥️

Every C4S device is refurbished by our talented interns—future IT pros gaining hands-on experience. Meet Lowen, who may have built your computer!

💪 Key Strengths:
My strengths are in the way I look at things and resolve challenges. I tend to be strong in times of need and able to find solutions quickly and effectively.

‍💻 Experience:
My background is surrounded by technology. From my own home lab, to my past works at the city of Winnipeg, I get to learn and help people with technology. Furthermore to my school background at both Louis Riel's Arts & Technology Centre and Manitoba Institution of Trades and Technology.

One day I wish to move further in the field towards a System administrator position and working long term in the field.

Drilling a hole through an SSD might look dramatic — but your data lives on small flash memory chips inside. If those chips aren’t properly wiped or completely destroyed, the information can still remain.

At C4SMB, we don’t leave data security to chance.

🔧 Meet the Team Behind Your Computer! 🖥️

Every C4S device is refurbished by our talented interns—future IT pros gaining hands-on experience. Meet Ali, who may have built your computer!

💪 Key Strengths:
I’m highly motivated, detail-oriented, and quick to learn. I have strong hands-on technical skills, especially in hardware installation, system configuration, and troubleshooting, and I take pride in doing things right the first time. I work well independently and in team environments, communicate clearly, and stay organized even when handling repetitive or high volume tasks. I also bring a positive attitude to the workplace and am always willing to help wherever needed.

🎮 Personal Interests:
I enjoy working with technology, especially building and fixing computers and learning how systems work behind the scenes. I’m interested in Cybersecurity and Networking, and I like staying up to date with tech trends. Outside of tech, I enjoy problem-solving challenges, learning new skills, and staying active.

💙 Favourite Part of Working at C4S:
My favorite part of working at Computers for Schools Manitoba is knowing that the work I do has a real impact. Refurbishing computers that go to schools, nonprofits, and communities in need is very rewarding. I also enjoy the hands-on technical work and the team environment where everyone is willing to share knowledge and help each other.
