Today, we take time to listen, learn, and reflect on the history and ongoing impacts of residential schools and the experiences of Indigenous Peoples in Canada.

As a workplace, we have a responsibility to create spaces grounded in respect, understanding, and inclusion. Reconciliation is an ongoing journey, and meaningful progress begins with education, open conversations, and a commitment to learning and doing better.

Technology Professionals Canada (TPC) formally withdrew as Canada’s signatory to the International Engineering Alliance (IEA), effective December 31, 2025.

As a result, Canadian technologists and technicians are no longer eligible to use the “IntET” or “IntET” designations.

This decision follows a comprehensive review process. TPC remains committed to supporting the engineering technology and applied science professions, both in Canada and internationally.
