MIA Summer Camp is a volunteer led youth camp initiative that strives to provide exceptional programming for Muslim Youth in our community. The organizing committee is run by veteran volunteers who have a long history and experience of running youth camps with a focus on Islamic principals.

We're excited to announce that camp registration is now open! Campers will be invited to participate in activities in a social setting that builds on community. Camp is weekly, and campers can register for multiple weeks. Opportunities to connect to peers and counsellors through various activities, sports, crafts and trips. Spots are limited!

Our summer day camp this year is a full day camp (8:30am - 4:30 pm) where children will enjoy various activities such as sports, crafts, cooking a dish, indoor and outdoor activities, spiritual speeches, and weekly field trips.

The MIA Education Program is excited to invite students to participate in our Summer Quran Camp!

This is a wonderful opportunity for children to strengthen their connection with the Quran.
Start Date: July 5
Schedule: Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
Time: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM
Location: Waverley Mosque – Second Floor
Age Group: 7–12 years old
Surahs Covered: Surah Al-Waqi’ah, Surah Al-Mulk, and Surah Ar-Rahman
Program Includes: Memorization, recitation, a brief tafseer with an explanation of the reasons for the revelation of the surahs, as well as highlighting the virtues and blessings of each surah
Fees: $120 per child for the entire camp period
