Heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended, performed, spoke, and supported this year’s Silver Lining Gala. It was an unforgettable evening filled with hope, joy, laughter, music, and even some dance!
A special thank you to Cedar (Lorraine Clements) for opening the evening with grace, leading us in prayer and song that celebrated the resilience, healing, and joy found along the recovery journey. We were honoured to celebrate her own remarkable milestone of 18 years in recovery.
We were proud to recognize Kellee Reid as our 2026 Community Champion, and thank Audrey Sabiston for accepting on her behalf.
Thank you to Simone and Keith, and Morgan Grace and her father Keith, for sharing their incredible talents and lighting up the room with unforgettable performances.
We are grateful to our board member, Karen Burwash, for her ongoing dedication and support to SRWC.
Thank you to Amy Harris from Still Dreaming Photography for capturing stunning photos at the evening's event.
Meghan Greene and Drake Young energized the evening with the powerful rhythms and soul of their drumming and song, while Troy Westwood kept the night moving as our outstanding host.
Thank you to Obby Khan, Richard Loiselle, and Mayor Scott Gillingham for their inspiring remarks, and to Stacey and Sahra for sharing information about our upcoming Recovery Day celebration.
A special thank you to Gord Pratt for his invaluable support with video production throughout the gala and our fearless leader, Colleen Allan, for organizing another successful Silver Lining Gala.
Most importantly, we thank the SRWC participants Ben, Carla, and Arlene who courageously shared their stories of strength, hope, and recovery. Your voices are the heart of our mission and an inspiration to us all.
On behalf of Team SRWC, thank you for making this evening so meaningful. Together, we continue to build hope, joy, connection, and recovery in our community. 💙
