came into being in 2003, when the Philippine Heritage Week Ad Hoc Committee was constituted as a formal body that will organize other cultural and heritage activities during the year. VISION

ions for the enrichment by the many cultures and traditions that surround us that make up the community where we belong for the betterment of Manitoba and for the benefit of the present generation and those to come. MISSION
Our mission is to enable Filipino organizations and individuals to promote and share the unique Filipino cultural and natural heritage with Manitobans and the broader society through meaningful partnerships, awareness and capacity building, and cultural exchanges that enhance community welfare and well-being. Mabuhay, Winnipeg! We warmly remind and invite everyone to join us tomorrow for the Kick-Off Event of this year’s Philippine Heritage Month Celebration — our Celebration of Faith.

As we begin this meaningful month-long celebration, we hope to come together as one community with good hearts, good intentions, gratitude, hope, and unity. Whether you are coming to celebrate culture, community, faith, friendship, or simply to support and connect with others — everyone is welcome.

We continue to hope and pray for successful events, active participation, and memorable moments throughout the month as we celebrate together with kindness, respect, and joy.

With heavy hearts, the Philippine Heritage Council of Manitoba extends our deepest condolences to the Vickar Family.

Today, we mourn the loss of someone who was truly dear to our community. Tova touched many lives with kindness, generosity, and a spirit that will always be remembered. While we grieve this loss, we are also deeply grateful for the beautiful legacy left behind.

Thank you, Tova, for the love and light you shared with our community. Your memory will continue to live in our hearts.

Rest in peace. You are loved and will be dearly missed.
