Skal International Winnipeg held its annual Christmas Dinner Event on Wednesday, December 10th, 2025 @ RBC Convention Centre. Members/Partners & Guests enjoyed entertainment at the reception, great food & beverages as well as the Christmas Tree Envelope Draw and Live Auction. Outgoing President Lilian Tankard handed over the President's Chain Of Office to Incoming President Jayde Finkbeiner from Heartland International Travel & Tours. Season's Greetings were extended to all.

Skal Winnipeg will hold it's clubs November dinner on Tuesday, November 18th at Boreal Bistro in the Canadian Museum for Human Rights. 6PM -Reception 7PM -Welcome Remarks 7:15PM -Dinner service, 8:30PM -Club's Annual General Meeting. This is a member & partner dinner meeting, members must RSVP by November 12th.....

Skal International Winnipeg's October 28th Dinner Meeting was held at the Birchwood Inn. Two new members were inducted into the club and received membership certificates. The Guest Speaker was Cody Chomiak, VP Travel Manitoba providing an update on AI use in the Tourism Industry.

Skal International Winnipeg will conduct it's club' October Member/Partner Dinner Meeting on Tuesday, October 28th at the Birchwood Inn. This meeting is our annual "prospective new member event" where members are encouraged to bring guests who may be interested in further promoting tourism in our city/province and become members. 6:00pm Gather/Reception, 7:00pm -Welcome Remarks, 7:15pm -Dinner Service 8:30pm -Program, 9:30pm Adjournment.

This year's Skal International World Congress starts September 25th in Cusco. This will be the 84th edition of the annual International World Congress where club representatives gather to take in business sessions and extend "friendship" in promoting the Tourism industry.

Skal Winnipeg congratulates club member -Melanie Carter who has recently retired from the CAA Club Group with 30plus years in travel & tourism.

Mel is taking time to enjoy our summer months, but who knows what the next chapter will entail.
