Baseball Manitoba To inspire a lifelong passion for baseball. Aids various leagues throughout the province to foster sportsmanship and participation in a team setting.

Baseball Manitoba...

Was formed in 1968 to foster the participation, development, and competition of amateur baseball in the province. Is associated with the Canadian Federation of Amateur Baseball, (Baseball Canada), which governs national and international competition. Has a Management Committee, comprised of representatives from various regions of the province, who are elected at the Semi-Annu

al General Meeting, held each fall. Is an extensive network of regional directors, delegates, league presidents and umpires who contribute to the grassroots promotion of baseball. Has leagues which are established based on various age categories and skill levels. The following are the current classifications of competition:

Rally Cap (7U)
Grand Slam (9U)
11U
13U
15U
18U
Junior (21U)
Intermediate (all ages)
Senior (all ages)

Coordinates zone playoffs, provincials, Western Canadian and Canadian National Championships. Promotes that leagues for younger age groups should encourage participation, opportunities for skill development and an introduction to fellowship in sport. As the age groups progress, more emphasis is place on competition and the development of players for national and international competition. Publishes a yearly handbook which outlines the constitution, bylaws, rules and regulations and general information. Coordinates the registration of the various leagues throughout the province. Provides technical assistance through its five office staff: Executive Director Jason Miller, Executive Assistant Brenda Horz, Program Director James Zamko, Media & Communication Coordinator Haley Hayward, and Sport Development Coordinator Brittney Langlais, who are responsible for the coordinating of the programs of the association.

The Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame is hosting its 6th Annual Golf Tournament on September 13th, and they are still looking for a few more teams to join in on the fun! ⚾️⛳️

Proceeds will help fund and maintain the MBHOF and Museum, which preserves and displays the heritage of baseball in Manitoba.

All of us at Baseball Manitoba want to congratulate our 19U Women's Provincial Team on an outstanding performance at the 19U Baseball Canada Women's National Championship this past weekend!

The team finished with a 3–2 record, earning 5th place overall after a competitive week of baseball. Well done to all of the athletes and coaching staff for the effort, teamwork, and the way you proudly represented Manitoba throughout the tournament!

Congratulations to the Carillon Sultans on capturing the MJBL 22U AAA Provincial Championship for the third consecutive year! ⚾️🔥

The Carillon Sultans defeated the Elmwood Giants 12 - 2 and swept the Giants in 3 straight to claim their 3rd consecutive MJBL championship.

After receiving a first round bye due to their Pennant winning season, the Sultans went 6-1 in the playoffs averaging 10 runs for and 2 against on route to their championship.

As a result of the victory, the Sultans will represent Manitoba in the 22U Championships slated for Winkler Manitoba in August of 2027.

2026 represented the 50th year of the MJBL and Sultans win was their 6th League Championship in franchise history.

*Due to the overland flooding severely affecting the diamonds at Quarry Park in Stonewall, the 18U AAA (Tier 1 & 2) Provincials will now take place at Optimist Park in West Winnipeg. Stonewall Minor Baseball is the host organization, but Optimist Park will be the location.

We're excited to welcome the Blue Cross Baseball Manitoba 9U Jamboree to Blue Cross Park this Saturday!

The event will being 12 teams from across the province to enjoy a unique opportunity to play on the home field of the Goldeyes while celebrating their baseball season in a professional ballpark setting.
