Today, on GivingTuesday, your donation will help dancers like those from Sol de España and Bolero Dance Theatre who were able to travel to Spain thanks to the funding they received through Folklorama’s Cultural Preservation Fund.

The group travelled to different parts of Spain learning traditional folk dances, how the influences of other countries or cultural groups affect different dances, and how climate and terrain affect how people dance in certain regions.

They came home armed with the skills to keep their culture thriving here in Winnipeg by sharing new choreography with fellow students and audiences!
