A special thank you to Malaya Marcelino, MLA for Notre Dame for giving us this opportunity and for helping shine a light on the work Evermore does in the community. We are grateful for the kind words and appreciate the recognition and the chance to share more about the people and programs that make Evermore what it is.

We are proud to continue creating spaces where young people feel safe, supported and encouraged to gather, grow and lead.

"Hiii everyone, my name is Esther! I'm a program facilitator at Evermore and have been for a year now (yayyyy!!). I enjoy working with kids and providing a positive and safe environment for kids to just be kids.

My favorite part about working with kids is getting to know each and every participant in the community and being a good role model in their life.

Evermore's vision of "Building future leaders" is something I strive everyday to uphold with the kids that come into program. I'm proud to be a part of an organization that supports the growth of children in all ages."

Sometimes, the best way to understand what Evermore means is to hear it from the families we serve.

As we continue our 50 for 50 journey, we are grateful for the parents and guardians who have shared their experiences with us over the years.

From knowing their children are in a safe place after school to seeing them develop new skills and talents, this feedback is a reminder of why creating welcoming spaces for young people matters.

If you have a story to share, please visit our website or swipe till the end to see the QR code!

Thank you to all the families who trust us to be part of their children’s lives.

A little smile can go a long way. 😊

Today, we are celebrating the smiles, laughter, friendships, and little moments that make our programs so special. Here’s to creating more reasons to smile, one moment at a time! 💛

Today, Evermore recognizes the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

We honour the Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the strength of Indigenous communities, families, and cultures.

Today, we recommit ourselves to learning, building understanding, and supporting the ongoing journey toward truth, healing, and reconciliation.

Every Child Matters.

“Program ‘awesomely awesome.’”

That was the headline back then and honestly, some things never change.

This throwback takes us back to the days of West Central Community Program, before we became Evermore, where after-school programming was already creating a place for kids to connect, have fun, learn, and feel supported.

From 1977 to today, so much has changed, but our commitment to young people has stayed at the heart of what we do.

As we celebrate 50 years, we are looking back at the moments, people, and programs that helped shape Evermore into what it is today and looking ahead to the future we are building together.

50 years of gathering. 50 years of growing. 50 years of leading.
And we are just getting started.
