On June 17, 1977, one staff member set out into Winnipeg's West End with a simple but important question:
"What recreational programs were available for the children of the community?"
From outdoor programming and home visits to the many opportunities, relationships, and experiences that have followed, Evermore's story began with a commitment to ensuring children and youth had a place to belong, grow, and thrive.
Today, we begin the journey toward celebrating 50 years of community impact.
Over the next year, we will be reflecting on the people, programs, memories, and milestones that have shaped Evermore's story.
As we honour our past, we also celebrate the participants, families, staff, volunteers, and community partners who continue this work today. Together, we look forward to building on this legacy and creating new opportunities for future generations to gather, grow, and lead.
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this journey and to those who will help shape the chapters still to come.
