As the new year begins, we wanted to take a moment to simply share what we do.

Access to Therapy exists for one reason:
to make sure that people who need mental health care aren’t blocked by money.

We connect individuals who are struggling and can’t afford therapy with licensed practitioners who agree to provide care at very low rates, and we cover the cost so that clients can focus on healing, not payment.

There’s no judgment, no diagnosis required, no hoops to jump through - just support, when it’s needed.

If you or someone you know could use help, you can apply here:

And if you’re ever in a position where you want to support someone else’s care, you can do that here:

Either way, thank you for being part of a community that believes people deserve care, not just when they can afford it, but when they need it. ❤️

Now that the holidays are over, many of us are heading back into normal life feeling rested, connected, and supported.

But for some people, the holidays were the hardest time of the year, which are spent feeling isolated, overwhelmed, or struggling silently with their mental health.

If you're in a place where you can help, your support today can give someone access to counselling they otherwise couldn’t afford.

💛 Support them today.

As 2025 comes to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect.

This year, Access to Therapy raised over $40,000, which helped fund more than 500 counselling sessions for individuals facing financial barriers to mental health care.

None of this would have been possible without the practitioners who partnered with us and agreed to provide counselling at deeply discounted rates so more people could access support when they needed it most.

We’re incredibly grateful for everyone who made this work possible, and we’re looking ahead to 2026 with care, intention, and hope.

Wishing everyone a peaceful holiday season. 🤍❤️💚

Access to Therapy would like to issue a heartfelt thank you to Finning Canada - Cranbrook!

Your generous donation of $500 will directly fund 17 counselling sessions for low-income Canadians who would otherwise go without the mental health support they need.

Every session brings someone closer to healing, hope, and a better quality of life, and it's because of compassionate partners like you that this is possible.

From all of us at Access to Therapy Initiative: thank you for standing with us.
