ASAP is an Advanced Club that provides members with augmented learning opportunities in three main areas:
- Advanced Manuals - we make time on our agenda to accommodate the longer time requirements of advanced manuals, and we actively encourage members to present advanced speeches during our meetings
- Evaluations - our evaluators shape their evaluations according to the level and needs of indi
vidual speakers
- Impromptu Speaking - our 3 to 5 minute table topics stretch the impromptu skills of already strong speakers. ASAP is proud to call Past International Director Jack Gillespie a long-serving member of our Club. To become a member of ASAP, you need:
- to have completed your Competent Communicator manual,
- to present a 3 to 5 minute table topics at one of our meetings,
- to evaluate a speech at one of our meetings, and
- to be elected into the membership. Our meetings are fun, high energy and educational, and you will always leave with something new in your tool kit!
