A recognizable face and deeply loved by our Lighthouse Mission community, Lawrence Douglas Corbiere will be remembered with great care and affection.

Lawrence was known for caring for our streets and the community around him. Many in our downtown community will remember Lawrence’s familiar face and the care he shared.

We are grateful for the time we shared with Lawrence and the connection we had with him. His presence will be deeply missed. We remember him with love and gratitude.

Our thoughts are with all those who knew and loved Lawrence during this time.

Today, we’re taking a moment to give thanks for the people who make Lighthouse Mission what it is.

We’re thankful for every volunteer who gives their time, grateful for every donor who gives generously, and blessed by every staff member who shows up with compassion and every person in our community who reminds us why this work matters.

Together, we create a place where people are welcomed, supported, and reminded that Everyone Matters.

Our volunteers show up to serve a meal, lend a hand, welcome a guest, sort donations, or help wherever they’re needed.

Their time and willingness to serve help us do more, reach more people, and continue creating a place of hope and care in our community.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Trevor and Hayley from No Frills for their incredible generosity in providing football game tickets for our Lighthouse Mission team and volunteers!

Our team was truly blessed by this opportunity and enjoyed a wonderful evening together cheering on the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, making memories, and simply enjoying time together.
