The Canadian Craft Brewers Association is delighted with the news that craft breweries will continue to receive a 50% reduction in excise taxes on their first 15,000 hectolitres of beer brewed for an additional two years, along with a 2% cap on the annual escalator.

🍻🖼️Beer Is Art 2026 🖼️🍻

Mark your calendars, friends! On April 2nd 2026 from 7-10pm, join the Manitoba Brewers Association at the Winnipeg Art Gallery for our 3rd annual ‘Beer Is Art’ sampling event. This magical evening sees each level of the Winnipeg Art Gallery transform into a showcase of exclusive, expertly crafted beer samples by the artists themselves - Manitoba’s incredibly talented community of brewers.

Your $65 ticket unlocks access to craft beer samples from 25+ breweries, as well as admission to explore the WAG’s magnificent art galleries and exhibitions. As you move through each level of the building you’ll be transported through different musical themes and atmospheres, carefully curated by DJ’s who are likely to bust a move with you if you’re the dancin’ type!

That's right, we finally did it. HARD SELTZER BABY.

We debuted this bad boy at the Winnipeg BeerFest, and now it's flowing in the taproom.

Island Mango Seltzer: a hard seltzer brewed by DMC. It's tropical. It's fizzy. It isn't sweet. $7 a pint, served on ice.

Let's wring out the final drops of summer before August is over and enjoy something light and fruity, shall we?
