Join Basketball Manitoba and the Winnipeg Sea Bears as we celebrate the 2026 Manitoba Club Basketball Championships with a special Wind-Up event at Canada Life Centre on Friday, June 12 at 7:00 p.m. Filipino Heritage Night features discounted 20% off tickets and a chance for one club team to win an exclusive post-game media experience with Sea Bears staff and players. The winning team will also participate in a post-game media session with Head Coach/GM Mike Raimbault and the Player of the Game. The WMBA 2026 Spring League playoffs kick off this weekend, bringing together hundreds of young athletes across Winnipeg in ages 11 to 18 for thrilling division battles. From Saturday’s 11-13 and 11-12 girls divisions to Sunday’s 13-18 showdowns, the weekend promises competitive basketball, community spirit, and positive, respectful play. Playoff brackets will be updated daily, and families are encouraged to arrive early to help with game operations. Crossover Basketball Club is back with its 2026 Summer Training Program, designed to elevate high-performance skills, athleticism, and strategic understanding. This program features sport-specific drills, conditioning, tactical instruction, and game-ready coaching from experienced staff and guest instructors. Sessions run three times per week over two weeks at the Richardson Athletic Centre, Balmoral Hall School, for both boys and girls born 2009–2016, with two age-group divisions and clear scheduling. Registration options include a full two-week program for $200 or a one-week option for $150, fully insured under Basketball Manitoba. Early registration is encouraged due to limited spots.
