🌿🧡 June is National Indigenous Peoples Month 🧡🌿
This month, we celebrate and honour the rich cultures, histories, traditions, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples. It is also an opportunity to learn, reflect, build relationships, and deepen our understanding of the Indigenous communities whose resilience and knowledge continue to shape our country.
Join us for some upcoming special community gatherings, starting in June, led by our special guest knowledge keepers:
🌾 Dreamcatcher Workshop

Learn about the cultural significance and teachings behind dreamcatchers while creating your own in a welcoming and supportive community space. This hands-on workshop offers an opportunity to connect with Indigenous teachings, creativity, and cultural traditions.
🔥 Bannock on a Stick, Sharing Circle & Community Feast

Come together to enjoy bannock cooked over the fire, participate in a sharing circle, and share a community feast as we celebrate connection, culture, and community.

Learn about the cultural significance and teachings behind medicine bags and tipis, and deepen your understanding of Indigenous traditions, values, and ways of knowing through this interactive learning experience.
