✨ Your Serenity Suites Check-In Made Easy ✨

Upon arrival, guests receive a welcome envelope labelled with their name, suite, and check-in/check-out dates. Inside are:
- Room keys and Wi-Fi details
- A personal information form (for invoicing, kept strictly confidential)
- An inventory checklist for your suite
- Any additional documents required

🕑 For after-hours arrivals, please contact us to arrange alternative key pickup. Check-out is before 12 PM on your departure date.

🔧 If any item in the suite is missing or not working properly, let us know — we'll resolve it promptly.

📞 Call us at 204-784-1650, email at [email protected], or visit www.lionsfoundation.org to book your stay or inquire about available dates.

💌 Remember: all bookings must be confirmed by email before check-in. Reservations made outside business hours will be processed the following business day.

✨ Miracles happen every day — thanks to the kindness of people around us. ✨

Last month, Colleen reached out to the Lions Foundation with a request for a walker. Her mobility was very limited, and she rarely left her home.

Through our Helping Hands program — a collaboration between the Lions Foundation and local Lions clubs — her request was shared with the Lions Club of Riverside. Thanks to DG Jan Nazarko, a walker was arranged and delivered to the applicant in a very short time.

When Colleen received it, she was deeply moved. For the first time in a long while, she can join her family on walks and enjoy her independence. 💛

Stories like this remind us why we do what we do. Thank you, Lion Jan, for helping make a real difference! 🦁💛

The Lions KidSight team had an incredible day at Melita Banana Days on August 9, 2025, bringing the gift of healthy vision to children in the community.

From the moment our tent opened, families stopped by to have their children’s eyes screened—quick, simple, and completely free. By the end of the day, we had screened 35 children. Most received a clear result, while one was referred for a follow-up to ensure they get the care they need as soon as possible.

Our dedicated team of five Lions volunteers gave a combined 27.5 hours of service, proving once again the power of community and volunteer spirit.

Events like Banana Days are more than celebrations—they’re opportunities to make a real difference in children’s lives. Early vision screening can catch problems before they affect learning, play, and growth.

“Lily was falling behind in school and no one knew why,” shared the mom of a 9-year-old girl from rural Manitoba.

It wasn’t until a simple screening through our KidSight program that the truth came out: Lily couldn’t see the board clearly. A pair of glasses changed everything. Her grades improved, her confidence soared, and her smile returned.

But there are thousands more children like Lily across Manitoba and Northwestern Ontario, especially in rural and northern communities, where vision and hearing challenges often go undetected for years.

💡 The demand for our screenings has far outpaced our capacity, and that’s why we’re expanding.

🚌 We’re launching Bringing Care Closer, a mobile program that will travel to schools, daycares, and community events to provide free vision and, for the first time, hearing screenings. Our goal is ambitious yet vital and reachable – to screen 40,000 children every year.

Our online booking platform is officially live! You can now check availability and request your stay in just a few clicks. Here's how:

⚫ Head to lionsfoundation.org, and under Programs, select Serenity Suites

🔵 Scroll down to find our color-coded availability calendar (each suite has its own tab!)

🔴 Choose your check-in and check-out dates, fill in your info and hit submit!

Once we receive your request, we'll call you to confirm all the details and then send your official confirmation by email.

💡 Bonus: You now have the option to prepay using PayPal or a credit card, but no payment is required before arrival.
