Shaping Light is a two-week immersive summer camp where youth ages 13–16 learn how to use video projection and digital art to animate objects and surfaces, transforming them into dynamic visual experiences. Using MadMapper software, participants will explore motion graphics, storytelling, and creative technology. No prior experience required. Guided by Winnipeg artist jaymez, the program culminates in a public showcase of their original projection-mapped works.

UPLINK! is VP's member programmed event designed to support and showcase the work of our community practicing in independent, experimental digital and media arts.
Held monthly on the last Thursday of each month, UPLINK! offers CPU and Motherboard members an opportunity to present new works, test ideas, and share evolving practices with the public.
CPU and Motherboard members can apply to receive free access to The Output and present a solo or group show for an evening of experimental digital and media art. Works may be finished pieces or works in progress that meaningfully engage with old or emerging technologies and align with VP’s mandate of independent experimental media arts.

Chronicling the tunnel’s eternal return to debt by Bint mbareh open this Friday at 7pm.
Presented in partnership with Send + Receive: Festival of Sound
An enveloping vocal work spanning radio broadcasts and the contemplative space of the gallery, “chronicling the tunnel’s eternal return to debt” conveys artist BINT Mbareh’s research on Palestinian ways of knowing to Treaty 1 territory. In this work, sound is both communicative content and a medium of passage, transgressing colonial borders and discrete bodies as a wave.
