Compassion in Action: Impact Update
Every week, our team shows up with solutions when our clients need us most.

Just in the past week, Never Alone has:

Delivered dry mouth products to a client with oral cancer, easing a side effect that makes eating and speaking painful

Delivered homemade soup from the Winnipeg Soup Fairies, a warm meal and a reminder that someone cares

Provided nutritional drinks to a client unable to eat solids, making sure they get the nourishment their body needs during treatment

Shared a handmade blanket from one of our volunteers, comfort for the long days and hard nights

Started preparing for our Oral Cancer Screening, because early detection saves lives

When cancer makes everything feel heavy, these moments help lighten the load.

A Full Table Shouldn't Be a Luxury

For families facing cancer, even Thanksgiving dinner can feel out of reach. Treatment costs add up. Energy runs low. Sometimes the hardest part of the holiday isn't the gratitude; it's just getting a meal on the table.

GEDfest YWG is back in Winnipeg for year two, and we're hoping you'll join us.

Last October, this event raised $21,582 for Never Alone Cancer Foundation.
This year, our goal is $28,000, and every ticket sold gets us closer.

Saturday, October 17 at The Met. Doors open at 5:30, show starts at 7:00. Kates Outlaw plays a tribute to The Tragically Hip, with Main Street Exiles opening the night, and CTV's Ainsley McPhail hosting as our MC.

Our 9th Annual Never Alone Cancer Walk took place on Saturday, September 19th, at Kildonan Park, and because of YOU, we raised over $120,000 in support of Manitobans impacted by cancer.

This isn't our number. It's yours.

Because you gave, we can say yes.
Yes to a family driving hours for treatment who needs help with gas money.
Yes to someone who can't work right now and needs help keeping the lights on.
Yes to the next person who calls us, scared and searching, and needs to hear that someone is in their corner.

This number belongs to the people of Manitoba who are impacted by cancer right now, and to you, for making sure they don't face it alone.
