Recently, our Vice-President of Industry Development & Partnerships, Janelle, had the opportunity to tour the Canadian Nuclear Laboratories (CNL) Whiteshell Laboratories Restoration Project in Pinawa, Manitoba.

It was fascinating to learn about the site's history and the important role it played in advancing nuclear science, safety, and innovation in Canada. Today, the focus has shifted to one of the country's most significant environmental restoration efforts, as CNL works to safely decommission and remediate the site.

Thank you to the CNL team for sharing their expertise and providing an inside look at this important project. It was an informative and thought-provoking experience that highlighted the innovation, responsibility, and long-term planning involved in restoring former nuclear research sites.
