Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Yuan to our team through the MITT Adult Learning Centre Work Integrated Learning Pilot Program.

It was wonderful having Yuan with us and giving her the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while learning more about the work we do to support Manitoba's bioscience community. Her enthusiasm, professionalism, and willingness to learn made her a great addition to our team for the week.

We’re excited to share news from our member, CentrePort Canada, announcing that Exemplar Developments is bringing Keystone Industrial Park to market at CentrePort Canada, supported by a $100M investment.

This significant development will add 184 acres of shovel-ready, fully serviced industrial land within CentrePort North, further strengthening Manitoba’s capacity for logistics, manufacturing, and distribution growth. The project reflects strong investor confidence and continued momentum in building out Canada’s largest tri-modal inland port.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Manitoba Investment Summit.

It was a great day of conversations, connections, and ideas focused on strengthening Manitoba’s bioscience and innovation ecosystem. We were thrilled to welcome attendees from across industry, research, government, and the broader investment community who came together to explore opportunities for growth and collaboration.

This year’s Summit brought together more than 70 companies, 40 funders and support services (including out-of-province organizations and sector-specific funders), and facilitated over 800 curated meetings designed to spark meaningful connections and investment opportunities.

A sincere thank you to our partners and sponsors for making this event possible. Your support helps create the space for meaningful dialogue and helps drive the sector forward in Manitoba and beyond.

Most importantly, thank you to our funders and attendees. Events like this only work because of the people who show up, engage, and share openly.
