We offer licensed child care and family supports, walking alongside community towards stability and growth. We believe in the potential of every person and the strength of community. We provide inclusive and compassionate support to all, meeting people where they are on their unique path toward empowerment and growth. Join Glory, our Social Work Practicum Student, for “CAPS” a welcoming group for people who use Thrive services.

Come to:

* Share your ideas and feedback about Thrive programs and services
* Help shape activities and what happens at Thrive
* Meet and get to know other people in the community
* Join fun activities and group discussions
* Hang out, connect and build community

Taking Charge! is an adult learning and literacy centre supporting single parents and women on EIA who want to upgrade their education or earn their Mature Grade 12 Diploma.

They offer:

Education upgrading and Mature Grade 12
On-site licensed and subsidized daycare
Counselling services
Personal development courses
Support to help you succeed academically, personally, and professionally
Taking Charge! is currently accepting new intakes.
