We're heading to Access on Friday mornings in July to run a Fruit & Veg Market at 11am.
We're also running on Friday afternoons at NorWest on Notre Dame at 1:30pm.

Our low cost Fruit & Veg Market runs every Friday afternoon giving our youth the chance to gain some customer service experience. Come shop if you're in the area, it's open to all.

NorWest is happy to be offering free income tax filing services for qualifying community members in the Inkster / Seven Oaks region.

Available to anyone with an annual income of:
✔ $35,000 or less - if single
✔ $45,000 or less - if married or common law partners (plus $2,500 for each dependent)

You will need to prepare the following documents:
▪ Tax information form filled and signed (forms can be emailed or picked up in-person)
▪ All income tax slips
▪ Copy of Personal Identification (Photo ID required)
▪ Rent receipts or property tax receipts, medical receipts, charitable donation receipts, and other applicable receipts

Please package all documents into a sealed envelope, and drop them off at one of our NorWest resource centres below.

We are running a fruit and veg market every Friday at NorWest on Notre Dame from 1:30-2:30pm. It's cash only and please bring your own shopping bag. We will have a small selection of fresh fruit and veg each week. Come by, get a good deal on some produce and help support our youth gain valuable employment related skills.

Tuition Waivers are scholarships open to current and former youth in Manitoba Child and Family Services (CFS) care, offered by 10 participating universities and colleges in Manitoba. In partnership with the Government of Manitoba, and the Futures Forward program.

Recipients may receive coverage up to the full cost and length of their degree, plus a living allowance.

Visit our In-Person Info Day to learn about this scholarship opportunity, meet with our team, plan your pathway with visiting recruitment booths from post-secondary partners, and connect with our resources for youth in/from care (employment and career development, mental health, financial wellness, systems navigation, and more)
