🎨 Let Creativity Take Over This Summer!

Art Camp gives young artists ages 6–8 the chance to create, experiment, and express themselves through hands-on projects all week long.

Using materials like paint, chalk, paper, pencils, and mixed media, campers will explore different art techniques while building creativity, confidence, and fine motor skills in a fun and supportive environment. Each participant will also complete a special project to bring home at the end of the week.

🤾 Dodgeball Camp Is Back This Summer!

Dodge, duck, dive… and have a blast this summer at Dakota Community Centre’s Dodgeball Camp!

Designed for kids ages 9–12, this high-energy camp keeps participants active through a variety of dodgeball games, team challenges, and outdoor activities throughout the week. Campers will build skills such as throwing, catching, dodging, teamwork, and game strategy in a safe, structured, and supervised environment focused on fun and positive participation.

For Volunteer Appreciation Week, we took our outstanding volunteers, who donate their time on a weekly basis, to The Leaf at Assiniboine Park. We were all transported by bus and had a guided tour.
