It is with great humility and gratitude that I stand before you as the Manitoba Liberal Party’s nominated candidate for the Burrows Constituency.
First and foremost, I would like to thank my family, friends, supporters, volunteers, and everyone who has placed their trust and confidence in me. I am deeply honoured to accept this responsibility.
My journey in community service has taught me one important lesson: leadership is not about being above the people, it is about standing with the people. It is about listening, understanding, and taking action.
For many years, I have had the privilege of serving our community through volunteer work, community programs, cultural initiatives, and partnerships with different organizations. These experiences have allowed me to meet many wonderful people and, more importantly, to hear their concerns, hopes, and dreams.
I am stepping forward because I believe Burrows deserves a strong and accessible voice at the Manitoba Legislature, someone who will listen to residents, bring their concerns forward, and work for practical solutions.
I want to focus on the things that matter to families: safer communities, better opportunities for our children and youth, strong education, support for seniors, affordable living, and a community where everyone feels respected and included.
But I also recognize that no candidate can do this alone. This campaign is not about me. It is about us.
It is about bringing people together, regardless of our background, culture, age, or circumstances. It is about choosing cooperation over division, compassion over indifference, and action over simply making promises.
As we move toward the 2027 Manitoba Provincial Election, I ask for your support, your ideas, your time, and your trust.
Let us knock on doors, listen to our neighbours, and work together to make sure every voice in Burrows is heard.
I may be one candidate, but with a united community behind us, we can make a meaningful difference.
Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for believing in Burrows. And thank you for believing that together, we can build a stronger and better Manitoba.
Maraming salamat, Chi-Miigwech and Thank you very much.
