Thank You Winnipeg Airports Authority!

The 220 Red River Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron Sponsoring Committee would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Winnipeg Airports Authority for their ongoing support of our Squadron and our cadets.

This year, thanks in part to WAA's generous support, we were able to offer 30 Familiarization (FAM) Flying opportunities to our cadets, providing an unforgettable firsthand aviation experience.

For some cadets, this was their first opportunity to take to the skies and experience Manitoba from a pilot's perspective.

These flights do more than introduce young people to aviation. They inspire curiosity, build confidence, and reinforce the values of leadership, discipline, teamwork, and personal growth that are at the heart of the Air Cadet Program.

The Winnipeg Airports Authority's commitment to youth development helps create meaningful opportunities that encourage cadets to pursue careers in aviation, aerospace, engineering, and other technical fields. Their investment is not only supporting today's cadets but also helping develop the future workforce of Manitoba's aviation and aerospace industry.
