🌈June is Pride Month!🌈

Pride is a celebration of authenticity, community, and the freedom to be yourself. It’s a time to honor the incredible diversity, culture, and achievements of 2SLGBTQIA+ people.

But Pride is also a movement. Born from a history of resistance, it honors the trailblazers who came before us while continuing the vital work for equity, safety, and human rights.

Whether you're attending events, learning about q***r history, or supporting local organizations, let's keep showing up. This month and every day, let’s build a world where everyone can live openly, safely, and with dignity.

The Trans Coalition is proud to present our lineup for the 2026 Trans March - Brick by Brick: Two-Spirit and Transgender People TOGETHER against fascism! Hosted by the certified prairie doll herself, Zova Da Silva!

Meet us at the front steps of the legislature for 10am where we'll hear speeches (and poems!) from Azha Schick, IndeeAnne and Lou Lamari. Together we'll reaffirm our commitment to two-spirit, trans and gender non conforming visibility and remind us of the happy futures we are fighting for. We're proud to showcase our community marshalls for this year's march - Clara Hudson and Luca Gheorghica!

Together we will march down Broadway (beginning at 11am) with the help of D***s on Bikes! The Trans March is about being visible. Visibility is a statement to ourselves and each other to show we are vibrant people deserving of respect. Our route will lead us to the Main Stage of the Pride Winnipeg festival together for performances by Bambi Sweet, Big Daddy Brushstrokes, and HEELIXIR! Yas!

The organizing committee is a group of Trans/non-binary/gender-non-conforming folks gathering in a non-hierarchical, de-centralized approach, focusing on equity and safe spaces to develop programming for the Trans and gender-diverse community. The group includes individuals from 2Spirit Manitoba Inc., Manitoba Moon Voices Inc., Bahaghari Pride Manitoba, Trans Manitoba, Klinic Community Health, Sunshine House, Pride Winnipeg and Manitoba Pride Alliance community members and allies.

Please join us in celebrating our visibility! Bring your signs, flags and colour!
