Linking Hope began with a few emails to friends and when overwhelming support flowed in we saw that people wanted to help. Linking Hope blossomed into an immense yet cohesive team of individuals and businesses who want a more inclusive community. Leadership
Kristie Pearson is the President and CEO of Linking Hope. Emphasizing the role of connecting front-line agencies doing difficult, necessary work to people in Winnipeg who have time, talent or treasure to share. Prior to Linking Hope Kristie has worked to support the charitable sector for over 20 years, on a variety of boards and committees. Our Network

Agency Collection Day = community connection in action. 💚

Today was another busy one at Linking Hope!

We started the morning with a pickup at MCC Kildonan, and then welcomed agency partners throughout the day, including Jewish Child and Family Service, DCSP, and many more.

Clothing, household essentials, hygiene products and other needed supplies headed back out the door to support the people these organizations work with every day.

This is what Linking Hope is all about: bringing resources together so frontline organizations can spend more of their time and energy doing what they do best — supporting people.

And there are lots of ways to be part of it:

• Donate and help us keep this work moving and growing.
• Volunteer and help us sort, organize and prepare supplies for agencies.
• Are you a nonprofit or community organization? Connect with us to learn about becoming a Linking Hope agency partner.

Businesses, volunteers, donors, agencies — we all have a role to play. And when we work together, the impact goes so much further.

Agency Day is one of our favourite days of the week. 💙 Yesterday our warehouse was full of agencies picking up the items they need to support people across our community.

Every pickup represents people who will have clothing, household items, hygiene products, and other essentials because of this incredible network of organizations working together.

And yes… while all of this was happening, our Fairmont team was also hard at work. 😊

Another Saturday. Another incredible team. 💚

The Fairmont project keeps moving because people keep showing up.

Today, our amazing Linking Hope staff gave it everything they had, joined by our longtime partners at Shortline Moving, the incredible crew from Riverbend Moving, who have been with us for the past two days, the Downtown Community Safety Partnership (DCSP), our volunteer extraordinaire Rob, and the fantastic team from N’Dinawemak, led by King David with Shelby & McArthur. And then the incredible Gabby!!

Truck after truck.
Room after room.
Item after item.

Together, we’re transforming thousands of hotel furnishings into homes, hope, and opportunity for communities across Manitoba.

To everyone who lifted, loaded, sorted, laughed, and kept the momentum going—thank you. This project is proving what can happen when businesses, nonprofits, volunteers, and community work side by side.

A heartfelt thank you to Cambrian Credit Union for investing in Linking Hope’s operations and believing in our mission.

This support helps us do more than keep our doors open. It helps us reach more communities, strengthen our network of 120+ agency partners, respond more quickly to emerging needs, and move more essential items to the people who need them most.

Operational funding isn’t always the most visible investment—but it is one of the most important.
