The Night Before the Big Day
The signs are all ready, the plans are all set,
The checklist is finished (or almost... not yet).
The shirts have been folded, the water's on ice,
The snacks are prepped neatly (we triple-checked twice).
The ducks are in rows — well, mostly, we think,
Though one waddled off for a nap and a drink.
The banners are packed, the maps have been drawn,
And we’ll all be up early, before the first yawn.
Excitement is buzzing, it hums through the air,
The spirit of teamwork is everywhere.
With laughter and energy ready to flow,
Tomorrow’s the moment — it’s time for the show!
So rest up, dear friends, close your eyes tight,
We’ll quack into action with morning’s first light.
Together we’ve built this — with love and with cheer,
And now it’s our time — the big day is here!
