Calling Tech Professionals!
We are currently seeking volunteer mock interviewers to help grade 12 PTEC students prepare for real-world hiring scenarios.
Date: May 22� Time: 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Virtual / In-person (depending on setup)

Ideal volunteers:
➡️ Have experience hiring or interviewing in tech

Bring expertise in:
➡️ Full-stack / Software Development
➡️ Cloud, Networking, or IT Infrastructure

💡 Volunteers will conduct short mock interviews and provide feedback to students as they prepare to enter the tech workforce.

Looking back at Ignition it’s safe to say the energy that night was unreal. 👽 🚀

What started as a night to bring the community together turned into something even bigger: a packed room, great music, real conversations, and a whole lot of momentum. It was the kind of night where conversations flowed just as easily as the drinks and connections actually stuck.

Our new initiative — Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Non-Profits — is designed to help Manitoba non-profit organizations explore practical AI solutions to real operational challenges.

Four selected organizations will be paired with Manitoba-based tech companies to work step-by-step on implementing an AI tool that can:
✔ Streamline a workflow
✔ Reduce administrative burden
✔ Save staff time
✔ Improve day-to-day operations

Tech Manitoba is excited to open applications for our 2nd annual MbTech Week Scholarship — created to inspire and support the next generation of tech innovators right here at home. Learn more at mbtechweek.ca

🎓 About the Scholarship
We’re awarding two $1,000 scholarships to Manitoba high school students who demonstrate curiosity, initiative, and a desire to shape the future through tech.

Recipients will be celebrated at MbTech Week’s DARE Innovation Awards on February 24, 2026.

Application & Eligibility details:
- Applications Open: November 15, 2025
- Deadline to Apply: January 31, 2026
- Open to all students enrolled in any Manitoba high school.
