When you buy a ticket, you get a chance to win money while directly supporting Mamingwey Burn Society Inc. and our Thomas W. and Ellora M. Hart Memorial Scholarship.

Burn recovery is more than medical treatment and physical healing. Recovery can involve the entire family learning to navigate life again including handling physical limitations, career disruption, and social stigma that can destabilize an entire household.

By funding post-secondary education for survivors and their loved ones, we can help with some of this instability. Higher education creates pathways to financial security and builds lasting resilience for families when they need it most.

The physical journey of burn recovery is only part of the story. Long after medical treatment ends, survivors and their families often face enduring socioeconomic hurdles, from physical limitations and job loss to social stigma. These barriers can disrupt the financial stability of the entire household.

Registration is now open for the 2026 Mamingwey Burn Survivors Community Forum (previously known as the Burn Survivor Conference) happening Friday Oct 16, 2026 - Saturday Oct 17, 2026 at Canad Inns Destination Centre Polo Park in Winnipeg.

The theme for this year is Healing Has Layers: From Fragile Moments to Finding Our Wings.

Cost is $150 for both days or $75 for one day.
Hotel group rates available until September 15, 2026
Free parking on-site.

Y’all we have officially sold out for the Go For The Burn Run 2026! This will be the biggest event we have held. 500 of you are running and we could not be more excited!

The current weather forecast is an overnight low of -3 on Friday night, and then a high of 9 on Saturday, cloudy but dry. Fingers crossed, we will have another beautiful day.
