Rossbrook House is hiring.

Urban/Hometown Green Team – (2 positions) Temporary, Seasonal for ages 16 to 24.

32hrs/week for 6 weeks - It will include weekends, evenings, and day shifts.
Start Date: July 6, 2026 – August 16, 2026
Applications accepted until June 5, 2026, at 4:00pm.

These 2 positions will help provide a safe space for children and youth, ages 6 – 24.
The Green Team will be mentored and supported by the Senior Staff to assist in supervision, taking part in playing games with the children, and attending events and activities as an additional support staff. They will be guided and supported in creating games and activities to engage Rossbrook House participants during the summer months.

Examples of support may include:
β€’ Assisting staff and participants in planting and upkeep of both the outside of our building and the community.
β€’ Energy Plus (6 – 11 years) e.g. games, Lego, gaming, colouring, painting, arts and crafts. They can be as creative as they want, and collaboration with staff in the delivery of programming will be encouraged.
β€’ Intermediates (12 – 17) e.g. Assisting staff in supervision of outside activities, engaging with youth.
β€’ Playing, coordinating, and supervising sports/games in the field for participants with staff.

The successful candidates will be required to obtain a satisfactory Vulnerable Persons Sector and Child Abuse Registry check.
