Project Love filled Oshki-Giizhig Inc. with love and laughter this Valentine’s Day weekend 💗

Our Valentine’s Day Dance brought participants together for a night of music, dancing, bannock tacos, games, and photobooth fun 🎶🌮

More than just a dance, it was a celebration of community, inclusion, and connection.

Our staff recently took part in therapeutic breathwork sessions to learn techniques they can share with participants —tools to help manage stress, stay grounded, and support emotional regulation. 🌀

What a day! Our Winter Solstice gathering was filled with ceremony, good food, and great people. ❄️🎄

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it so special. A big thank you to the Master Jiggers—Ryan Richard, Felicia Morrisseau, and Ashley Campbell—for performing and teaching us some moves.
We were also honored to celebrate participants who completed the 10-week substance use program with our Black Wolf Lodge. 🎉

With food from Shelly’s Bistro and Press’d Sandwich Shop, a silent auction, gifts, and time together, it couldn’t have been a better way to gather.

As Manitoba Substance Use and Addictions Week comes to an end, we’re reminded that even in difficult times, hope is something we can continue to hold onto.
Whether you’re navigating your own path, supporting someone you care about, or exploring new ways to heal, your experiences matter and you matter!

Whether she’s answering questions, solving challenges, or helping staff through day-to-day needs, she approaches every task with genuine care.

Having Karen on our team is awesome and we are so grateful for her dedication and all the ways she uplifts our work.
