🫟Seasonal Graffiti Removal Program runs with financial assistance from Urban Hometown Green Team and the City of Winnipeg.

Our staff work in tandem with City of Winnipeg Public Works teams, assisting with and augmenting their graffiti removal efforts

Staff will tend to varied graffiti removal jobs throughout the entire city of Winnipeg, including private and public buildings, public parks, bridges, and various other structures. Detailed training will be provided in all graffiti removal techniques employed. The seasonal Graffiti Removers will also assist Take Pride Winnipeg! staff in various duties with the other programs, such as prepping surfaces for murals, or other beautification projects.

This program runs May through August each year. Hours are Monday to Friday, 7:30 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. or assigned by the supervisor. Take Pride Winnipeg covers the cost of steel-toed boots, and offers a competitive hourly wage.  

🌷Green Wave is a summer neighbourhood beautification program run by Take Pride Winnipeg!  with financial assistance from Urban Hometown Green Team. 

Staff are divided into teams of two to four and assist various Business Improvement Zones and other community groups with beautification projects. Staff will work on a rotating schedule, and may be assigned to different locations daily, so access to transportation, or knowledge of public transit is essential.

Green Wave employees will come together periodically to work together on a larger-scale project, such as public park enhancement, invasive species mitigation, or special planting projects. 

Work hours are Monday to Friday 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. or as assigned by the supervisor. Uniforms, training and any special equipment will be provided by Take Pride Winnipeg!

National Volunteer Day Impact!

Across Canada, 508 amazing volunteers came together to clean up beloved park spaces in their communities. From Fleetwood Park in Surrey to Kenmount Terrace Park in St. John’s, teams rolled up their sleeves to make a difference.

At Omand’s Creek, our local crew collected over 40 bags of garbage! 💪 This incredible effort shows how teamwork can transform our shared spaces and keep Manitoba beautiful.
