GET YOUR HEP A VACCINE!
(Public Health will be vaccinating relatives ages 1+)

Manitoba is currently managing an ongoing, expanding hepatitis A outbreak, including over 140 cases in Winnipeg.

Getting vaccinated is the most effective way to prevent infection.

Hepatitis A is a highly contagious liver infection spread through the fecal-oral route - often by consuming contaminated food or water or through close personal contact with an infected person.
