🏠 WE’RE HIRING: Housing Stability Coordinator – Rent Relief Fund
Are you passionate about housing stability and supporting people through housing challenges?
MNPHA is hiring a Housing Stability Coordinator to join our Rent Relief Fund (RRF) team on a 12-month term, with potential for extension.
As a Housing Stability Coordinator, you’ll help participants navigate the Rent Relief Fund application process, provide intake and assessment support, connect participants with community resources, and work with landlords and utility providers to promote housing stability.
✨ What we’re looking for:
• 3+ years of experience in social services
• Knowledge of community resources for people experiencing income or housing challenges
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A compassionate, non-judgmental, and participant-centred approach
• Someone who is organized, resourceful, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a small team
📍 Hybrid position – minimum 2 days per week in our downtown Winnipeg office
💰 $20–$23/hour
⏰ 40 hours/week
📅 12-month term with potential for extension
French-speaking and Indigenous applicants are encouraged to apply and are welcome to self-identify in their application.

Have you received Employment and Income Assistance (EIA) or the Manitoba Supports for Persons with Disabilities (MSPD) benefit?

The EIA Advocates Network is working to advocate for an increase in social assistance benefit rates, and they want to hear directly from people with lived experience.

Housing & I.D. Resource Event – Come Connect with the Rent Relief Fund!

Looking for housing support or help navigating available resources? The Rent Relief Fund (RRF) will be attending the Housing & I.D. Resource Event on June 25 at the Winnipeg Adult Education Centre.

Our team will be on-site to help eligible individuals and families apply for the Rent Relief Fund and learn more about the supports available through the program.

The Rent Relief Fund provides financial assistance to low-income Manitobans who are experiencing a temporary financial crisis and are at risk of losing their housing. The program can help with eligible rent arrears and other housing-related costs to support housing stability and prevent homelessness.

If you're facing challenges keeping up with housing expenses, have questions about eligibility, or need assistance completing an application, stop by and speak with our team. We're here to help.

We look forward to connecting with community members and working together to keep Manitobans housed.
