This is Migiziiwazison vision holder writing. If you are reading this and would like to support me in bringing back some of the vision defended by the sacred fire camp send me a private message on this page.
For those confuse, the sacred fire camp was established following a vision I received, and was meant to lit the fire for the children that never made it home and for the survivors and their children to find their way back to the sacred Fire of our ancestors where every child matter, past present and future.
I am also an intergenerational survivor and by taking such a big vision at task I expose myself to a lot of harms, and also had the honor to diffuse my love into a community of my peers, and relatives. I witness so much beauty,and so much hardship, I witness how strong and beautiful indiegenous resilience is and fought to maintain my vision of hope agaisnt the current of trauma, colonial mindsets and lateral violence until I cound'nt.
I trusted people that bully me and verbally assaulted me in private, and slowly lost my confidence and security in defending my vision.
The folks that bullied me, harassed me and diffame me in favor of my abusers and tormantors benefited of my fear, of my isolation and of my vulnerability to claim the camp as their own.
They benefitted from the emergency protective order I applied for to control the narrative and make an example out of me. They assaulted me at the camp, impose lies on me that added more barriers for me to access victim services and I allow them to terrorise me by choosing to protect my spirit rather than standing in my truth.
Protective order is over, I can speak my truth and I can stand up for my hope again.
