Happy 90th birthday Playmobil David Suzuki, Butterflyway Ranger! He is standing next to a Shrubby cinquefoil bush and is trying to ID the species of butterflies. Playmobil David was designed with various Playmobil parts, wire for his glasses and cotton for his hair. www.davidsuzuki.org There are 2300 volunteers in Canada creating habitat for bees, butterflies and birds. Manitoba has over 90 volunteers.

🚨 Endangered species are not red tape.

The federal government is proposing sweeping changes to how projects are approved, allowing them to move ahead without fully understanding the risks to species — or despite them. Canada is not failing to build because of wildlife protections.

Yesterday, WWF-Canada joined leaders from Canada's largest environmental and conservation organizations on Parliament Hill. We had one message for the federal government: do not greenlight extinction.

Today, we submitted our formal response. We do not need to choose between the economy and nature — but extinction is a choice.
