Fellowship That Strengthens Service | Rotary Club of Winnipeg Golden

Our recent Rotary Family Picnic was a wonderful reminder that meaningful service begins with strong relationships.

Members of the Rotary Club of Winnipeg Golden, together with family, friends and guests, came together for an evening of fellowship, great conversations, food, laughter and connection. Beyond the fun, the gathering provided an opportunity to strengthen relationships, build a greater sense of belonging and celebrate the diversity that enriches our Rotary family.

At Rotary, fellowship is more than a social experience. It creates the trust, collaboration and shared purpose that enable us to work effectively together and make a meaningful difference in our communities.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us and to all those who contributed to making the picnic a memorable experience. As we continue to grow as a club, we remain committed to creating an inclusive community where friendships flourish, ideas become action, and people come together in Service Above Self.

Service brings us together. Fellowship keeps us connected. Impact gives us purpose.

Together, We Create Lasting Impact.

A Message from Rotary Club of Winnipeg Golden

August is Membership and New Club Development Month, and it's an opportunity for every Rotary club in District 5550 to renew its commitment to growth.

Membership growth doesn't happen by chance—it happens through intentional planning, strong leadership, and engaged members. This year, our call to action is simple:

Organize. Organize. Organize.
Organize your Membership Committee.
Organize your membership goals.
Organize the invitation.
Organize a meaningful welcome for new members.
Organize opportunities for every member to engage and serve.

A thriving Rotary club is built on more than recruitment—it is built on retention, engagement, and belonging. Every member has a role to play in inviting others to experience the fellowship, leadership, and service that make Rotary unique.

Together, we can build stronger clubs, grow our membership, and expand our impact across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Northwestern Ontario.
One invitation can change a life. One new member can change a club.

Together, we can change communities.
Let's Organize. Let's Grow. Let's Serve

One suitcase. One bus ride. One week that could change everything.

Today, our sponsored Junior RYLA camper is heading to District 5550's Rotary Youth Leadership Assembly (RYLA)! 🎉

Over the next six days, they'll join youth from across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Northwestern Ontario to build leadership skills, confidence, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime. Through hands-on activities, teamwork, outdoor adventures, and personal growth, RYLA empowers young people to discover their strengths and realize the impact they can have in their schools, communities, and beyond.

At South Eastman Rotary, investing in youth is one of the most meaningful things we do. We believe strong leaders aren't born—they're developed through opportunity, encouragement, and experiences like RYLA.

Have an incredible week! We can't wait to hear your stories, celebrate your growth, and welcome you home with new ideas, new friends, and the confidence to make a difference.

Safe travels, and enjoy every minute! 💙💛
