We've had the opportunity to visit and explore the Morden Maker space workshop. Our residents have enjoyed the chance to get creative, try something new, and work together with the Marketplace team to create something special.
It's been wonderful to share ideas, and enjoy the experience of creating together!

Today, we celebrate the older adults who have shaped our families, strengthened our communities, and shared a lifetime of stories, wisdom and love.

At Salem Home, we are honoured to provide Christ-centered care that embraces our values of compassion, dignity, excellence and faith. But care is about more than meeting needs, it’s about knowing the person, valuing their story, and creating meaningful moments of connection.

We believe every resident deserves at least one special connection a day. Sometimes it’s a conversation, a shared laugh, a familiar song, a hand held, or simply taking the time to sit together. These moments may seem small, but they can make a meaningful difference.

Today, we invite you to celebrate the seniors in your life. Visit. Call. Listen. Share a story. Say thank you.

Because every older adult deserves to feel seen, valued, loved and connected — today and every day.

70 YEARS OF SALEM AND WE’RE CELEBRATING TOGETHER!!!

In 1956, a group of Mennonite churches in the Winkler area came together with a shared purpose: to make sure no one in their community would face old age without care, dignity, and a place to belong.

Seventy years later, that promise continues — one resident, one family, one staff member, one volunteer and one special connection at a time.

This November, we’re marking 70 years of Salem Home the way Salem does best: together, around a table.
